Floral Designs for Holiday Party in Marin
Floral Theme Creates Four Distinctive Designs by Yukiko:
Client asked me to create four designs with traditional holiday colors, but not in the generic style common among Christmas Decorations. The party invitation showed tree-tip branches with snow flakes clinging. So I took my theme from there, beginning with Oak branches and moss with silvered berries. In the side-piece below, the design is completed with Oriental Lilies, holly with traditional red berries, pine cone, pomegranate and various leaves and foliage.
The theme carries through the tallest centerpiece; below the oak branches are completed with cala lilies in unusual color, with white Oriental Lilies and holly, et cetera.
The second centerpiece is topped with white oriental lilies, and wrapped with curly willow, and uplifting bands of harakeke with holly and silvered berries.
Orchid Baskets – Make Way…

The large arrangement on the right is a designer’s favorite, and we would like to find a new place for it on the website.
Below are the newly displayed Orchid Baskets with live phalaenopsis arranged with fresh cuts of leaves, flowers, mosses, berries, branches. Yukiko crafts each design differently in the studio – after all, that’s what “original” means.
