Sympathy Ikebana in Winter
Basket ikebana of Japanese pine needles, oriental lilies, chrysanthemums, magnolia leaves and branch rises from earth, reaches upward.
Floral Designs: Spring 2009 (March – May)
Sandersonia Flowers with hydrangea, lisianthus: exotic golden bell flowers (some people call them
Chinese lanterns) for the discriminating taste.
Sophistication: large blooming oriental lilies with anthurium counterpoint;
variegated ivy, equisitum, mock orange and pine cones – in glazed pottery container.
This tall celebration arrangement with James Strei orchids includes Freedom Roses, larkspur, and leucadendron in heavy glass vase, wrapped in curly willow.

As new arrangements are completed, we photograph them before they leave the studio. Here is a selection of designs from the 2008-2009 Winter Season.
Previously these images were published on my website pages as “Recent Bouquets.” The page became too crowded and the presentation was awkward. So, they’re here now on WordPress blogging software, so we can add new designs in the sequence they become available.
